“The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."

Carl Sagan

HOW DOES LEGALIZING MARIJUANA AFFECT YOU?

Whether you use marijuana, know someone that uses marijuana, or haven't ever seen marijuana, it affects all Canadian citizens.

For the citizens that currently use marijuana, the legalization of cannabis would create a safer product and process of obtaining and using marijuana.

For the citizens that currently don't use or plan on using marijuana, the legality of the drug still affects you. You may know someone in your community or personally that could benefit from legalization. Also the tax revenue created from the legalization of cannabis can be invested in Canadian citizens and communities such as building more schools, community centers, and dealing with issues within Canada.
